The David T. K. Wong Fellowship is an annual award of £25,000 to enable a fiction writer wishing to write in English about the Far East the opportunity to spend a year in the UK at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich.

The fellowship is open to anyone who wants to write seriously, in English, about some aspect of life in the Far East (that is, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Burma, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei).

The UEA is hoping to promote the fellowship more widely in Asia / the Far East.
