WRITE OF PASSAGE
A restless stirring,
A simmering spark,
Ignite a yearning
Hidden in the dark.
A word emerge,
A new life begins,
Thoughts come together,
So easy it seems.
A heart flutters,
A catch of breath,
Oh God, it's alive!
Now, increase the length.
A story unfold,
A divine light,
Galvanise the creator
To colour it bright.
A chapter done,
A patience worn,
Run, catch that wind!
Before it is gone.
A final caress,
A pride aglow,
Yes, it is finished,
The yearnings know.
A dream lived,
A joyous spring,
Another new beginning
Waiting in the wing.
