Immaculately white-washed walls
Surrounded her as she slept.
Peaceful and serene
In a germ-free environment.
Loose bodices pass one another
With weapons against humanity
In hand.
Zapping in glee
She dreams of long roads
With never ending chases.
No place she can gide.
It's too late. Done. No protests.
What's done cannot be undone.
A river of red passes through the bay.
The tide will cease. She lies unconcious
As her deliverer scrubs down.
A broken vessel. Helpless and guilty.

She starts down the road
Winding up the windows.
Up up up they go.
Tirades are shut off.
She's to make the journey- alone.
It ain't a question of morality
But common sense.
Love's a many splendored thing
That kills.
That pain sears perpetually.
Only time will heal.
Nothing else can.
