Hors duh

i jostle with the denizens
of the local menagerie
in the train on the way home today:

the hors who are not stallions
see sawing by the door

the mehs who are not mares
railing at the handrails
along the corridor

the mahs who bear no relation to the bears
marring the peace
by lying on the floor

the lehs who are forced out from both lairs
sulking to the lors

at north buona vista
the opened door and
the long walk home
face us
lah i and the llama
not long ago
zooed in singapore
