A River
The pouring
of women's breasts
cast in wrinkled water.
Pebbles blind, grey and stationary.
Scrubbing pale arms
with rain cascading
through leaves.
The fine calligraphy of black hair
running from wet napes.
Silt, moss and sand between wary toes.
Boys atop boulders, their
arms shouldered wide.
