It's come to my attention that some readers not using Internet Explorer as their web browser (eg Safari on Mac, Mozilla or Firefox etc) are experiencing strange effects on some QLRS pages, esp those with multiple pages.
This is a known bug, and has to do with the way the different browsers interpret the way the webpages are put together (specifically, CSS in combination with javascript).
The solution to this issue is also known, but will take time to implement since it involves some fairly involved programming that I need time for, and some migration of the existing content. Any volunteer help in this area would certainly speed up the process (ASP / SQL programmers, anyone?). A working target would be the next issue of QLRS, 3 mths down the road.
In the meantime, I beg your patience for the inconvenience and would advise using an IE 5+ based browser when reading QLRS (at least, for the problematic minority of pages) |
