Muhammad bin Zailan (b. 2008) is a poet and translator, exploring the tensions and dichotomies of grief and belonging, as well as the hyper-specificities of love. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in AFTERIMAGE’s OFTHENOW magazine and PR&TA Journal, among others. He has translated poems from the Malay for poetry.sg. He currently serves as Outreach Assistant for Layl Ash-Shayr, and is pursuing Mass Communications at Republic Polytechnic.
