Anytime Now
Mum pointed you skywards,
hand supporting her back whenever she heaved herself off the couch. "Anytime now would be good," she said when she sat back down. Dad said to me, "Can you imagine having a fieldpack latched to you, wherever you go?" I imagine the release would be something like a boulder rolling down a hill but for now you are positioned like a swimmer cloaked by water, against the current. I am rooting for you.
