The New Bad Plumbing (after Brendan Cleary) Today he plumbed the depths of the human soul
with just his voice and toolbag full of words. A dirty job but someone has to do it. Gingerly he plugged away, fished for turds. We watched as he attacked the blockage from all expected angles; turned this here, stuck that there almost as if he knew what he was doing. His manly grunts electrified the air. Then he was finished. He was a sight, soaked through and flush with workman's triumph - yet despite the warm and stinking wet, the shit itself seemed not at all diminished. By Nicholas Liu QLRS Vol. 5 No. 1 Oct 2005_____
